Mary was an inspiration to us all here at Good Sam. She was a truly kind person. She made my newborn daughter a quilt that I will treasure forever. We miss you Mary!

In her post-retirement work at GSH, I had the distinct pleasure of working alongside the very inspiring and distinguished pharmacist, Mary Connelly (Miss Mary) as she was also affectionately called. I valued her not only for her outstanding professional accomplishments but also for her winning personality, her abilities as a leader and mentor.
After her second retirement, we continued to enjoy early breakfasts and, occasionally, lunch, sometimes in her beautiful home. She was always the perfect hostess and a dear friend.
I regret not having seen her since the COVID years and after her change in residence, but I treasure the memories of her friendship and having worked with her.
Rest in Eternal Peace, Miss Mary, you left a lasting legacy, and you will be forever remembered.
Thank you !

I worked with Ms. Mary Connelly at Good Samartian Hospital Pharmacy for over 20 years. She was always kind to people, yet she was a no nonsense person. I regret not getting to see her in final years. She was very kind to me, I still wear the Burberry scarf that she gave me many years ago. She was a pioneer, she was one of the first female pharmacist. She was passionate about her faith and politics. Truly a trailblazer, she will be missed.

Aunt Mary you will be missed by me and the entire Connelly family. Aunt Mary was a very caring and loving person. We always loved to her about her trips to Ireland. She always wanted to know how the children were doing and what their interests were.
We miss you very much, but know you are in haven with your brother, my dad.

Mary was a very nice person who was a former neighbor of mine that lived at one time in Original Northwood. She was involved with the community by attending neighborhood association meetings, participating in some social events, serving as a Block Captain and being a member in the Northwood Garden Club. In addition, she looked out for neighbors, enjoyed reading, doing crafts, attending church, traveling, working at Good Samaritan Hospital and Mercy Hospital. Often I would see her at concerts at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall or at lectures. When Mary would travel, I often looked after her cat and house. Mary was lucky to live a long and happy life and she will be missed by all who knew her.
