Michael O'Rourke Obituary
Michael O'Rourke (Mike), 55, of Ocean City, NJ passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Moore Medical Complex Feb. 16th. He was born to Janet (Connor) and the late Francis O'Rourke Apr. 12, 1959 in Wynnewood, PA. Mike graduated from Frostburg State University with a BA and had a successful career in industrial equipment sales. Throughout his youth and while at Frostburg, Mike swam competitively. He was an avid sports fan and loved to shoot pool, fantasy football and ride his bike along the OCNJ boardwalk. Mike also spent much of his last few years providing care to his father. He is survived by his mother: Janet, four brothers: Fran (Sue), John (Laura), Jim (Laura) and Joe (Beth) and 9 nephews/nieces: Ashley, Zach, Kathleen, Andy, Shannon, Julia, Erin, Sean and Aidan. A memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date this spring in Ocean City, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org or 1-800-342-2383). For condolences, visit www.godfreyfuneralhome.com.

Very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. We were on the high school swim team together. He was a great guy.

I was so sorry to learn about Mike's passing. We went to high school together and crossed paths in the building industry every now and then. He took nearly everything with good humor and grace.
