Michael Sieling Obituary

Michael "Sleepy" C. Sieling, age 24, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on June 8, 2023. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he is the son of Ruth Sieling and the late David Phillips Jr. He worked as a Roof Surveyor and enjoyed playing volleyball with his roommates and lighthouse alumni. Michael was always wanting to help people with addiction problems. His favorite color is purple, if attending Sunday please wear purple in honor of Michael.

In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by his son, Milo Elijah Sieling; daughter, Aaliyah Lynn Sieling; grandparents, Lois Sieling and Raymond Heil; and many aunts and uncles.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, James H. Sieling Jr, Sally G. Heil, Terry Anderson and David Phillips Sr.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Family Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Sunday, June 18, 2023, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: Recovery Centers of America, 314 Grove Neck Road, Earleville, Maryland 21919.
