When I got out of the USAF in 1973, I was hired by Continental Can Company (CCC) and Neil was my first boss. Neil was respected by everyone and was a wonderful role model. I was new to Baltimore, but Neil's love for it rubbed off on me. My wife and I bought our first home near Neil in Homeland.
I was promoted to roles in Chicago and Cincinnati. While in Cincinnati, I travelled back on business to Baltimore and had dinner with Neil a few times. I'll never forget Neil and the great help he was to me throughout my career.
I see Neil's secretary, Sandy Mack made a comment and I also remember what a great support she was to Neil and everyone in that office.

Mike: Thank you for letting me know about your Dad's passing. I was greatly saddened - he was one of the dearest individuals I have had the pleasure of knowing. It would take a book to tell you what I thought of him, how he was always so caring of everyone, always a gentleman, so family-oriented, just a wonderful person. I will keep your Mom and the family in my prayers. What a tremendous loss I feel and what a privilege it was to work with him at CCC and call him my friend.
