Patrick Boyle Obituary

Patrick Ryan Boyle, age 45, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away on December 2, 2024, at Gilchrist Hospice at GBMC in Towson, Maryland. Born in Towson, Maryland, he was the son of Mike Boyle and Marian (Smith) Flagler and the husband of 15 years to Christina Kimball Boyle. Patrick died after a lengthy battle with glioblastoma, surrounded by his devoted, loving family and friends.

Patrick was raised in Bel Air and graduated from St. Margaret School, The John Carroll School, and Pennsylvania State University.

In addition to his wife, Patrick is survived by his daughters, McKayla and Aubrey; his son, Hunter; his brothers, Michael, Gregory (Emily), and Matthew; his nieces, Kinley Boyle, Delaney Boyle, and Emery Kimball; his nephews, Mikey Boyle, Luke Boyle, Ben Boyle, and Declan Kimball; and his in-laws, Bob and Carol Kimball, and Mike and Sloane Kimball. Patrick is also survived by his grandmother, Irene, as well as 41 first cousins, their children, his aunts and uncles, and many friends, who are too numerous to name.

Patrick pursued life with conviction and valued his longstanding friendships. After graduating from Penn State, he began a successful career on Wall Street with JP Morgan Chase, followed by roles at Mercantile Bank and M&T Bank. Always an independent thinker (and occasionally obstinate), Patrick achieved further success by founding Highmark Construction, Strong Wall Construction, and most recently, Sensi Auto Technologies, with the help of his partners.

Patrick also believed deeply in helping others and backed that belief with action. Quietly giving his time and expertise, he was also generous in supporting causes that mattered to him. Most notably, Patrick cared deeply about mental health and addiction recovery. He assisted many in their journeys to recovery and was a significant donor to the Klein Family Center at Upper Chesapeake Health.

Patrick overcame many challenges in life and never backed down from a fight. His home was meticulously maintained, with particular attention to the stream, the grass under the trampoline, the alignment of the dining room chairs, and the under-counter lights in the kitchen. More importantly, his home was always open to family and friends, and he took great pride in hosting celebrations for holidays, milestones, and the accomplishments of others.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Klein Family Center:
