Paul Adler

Paul Ira Adler, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025, at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Adler (nee Karp); by his sons, Brandon Adler and Eric Adler; by his sisters, Ilisa Adler, and Bonnie (Greg) Cooke; and by his brother-in-law, Howard (Bonny) Karp. Paul is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.. He was predeceased by his sister, Linda Shugars, and by his parents, Rose and Herbert Adler.

Paul passed away at home, surrounded by his loving wife, children, and siblings. He was born in Baltimore City, where he graduated from Baltimore City College. Following in his father's footsteps, Paul proudly served his country. He was a dedicated mentor and leader within the Masons Lodge, a role he cherished deeply.

Paul married the love of his life and together they raised two sons, whom he adored. Paul and Sheila met as teenagers through BBG/AZA, where their lifelong journey together began. In their early days, Paul would visit the zoo, capturing moments through his camera and carefully developing the photos just for Sheila to have. He was immensely proud to be a member and leader of the Masons Lodge. His personality and passion for life-especially his love for food, orange vodka, and Keno-left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

We remember Paul for his courage, strength, and kindness. He will be welcomed into Heaven by his mother, father, and sister, Linda. With broken hearts, we say goodbye.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, at 12pm. Interment United Hebrew Cemetery - Washington Blvd. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, 1717 K Street NW, Suite 900, Washington, DC 20006-5349. The family will be in mourning at 1307 Saddleback Road, Pikesville, MD 21208 on Sunday following interment with a Shiva service at 7:00 PM. Continuing on Monday from 1:00-4:00 PM and 5:30-8:00 PM with a Shiva service at 7:00 PM.
