Dear Sparky,
My cousin, Judy Lee Ross, gave me the news of Bruce's passing. Although we never met, I feel we we're bonded with the same great passion: the love of Live Steam. As one railroader to another I am deeply saddened for your loss.
Best regards,
Pat Bradley

Bruce was a unique man. A true personification of the American Dream come true. He worked hard and put his God given gifts to use in making the world a better place for his family and friends. It has been my privalege to have known Bruce and his gracious wife Sparky. Bruce will live on in my memory and I will use him as an example when trying to teach my children what it means to be a man of character.

Dear 'Sparky'
Our prayers are with you. Bruce was an inspiration and friend to many of us and he will be missed. Mona and I always felt welcome when we visited you and we really appreciated that. You opened your place to the CALS group often and for many different activities. Those days will always be remembered fondly.
I know that Bruce is now resting comfortably but it is still difficult for those who love him. In time, you will be able to walk with him again. God bless

My dear Hamilton family,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of Bruce who was also affectionately called Grandpa Choo Choo. He certainly influenced the lives of many with his values, ambitions, and accomplishments! I deeply respected and admired him, and I give my condolences to the Hamilton family and extended families of his friends and associates.
I thank God for the life of Mr. Bruce Hamilton. He was a powerful example of life. May the Lord give us all comfort and keep alive the many memories of his life.
Affectionately,
Judy Ross

My fondest memory of Bruce is many years ago when you had a few farm animals enclosed by an electric fence. Once when the fence wasn't "hot" Lee, about 5 at the time, was swinging on it. Bruce ran as fast as he could to take her from it lest she get a shock. This exemplifies the Bruce I knew and admired: always the quintessential family man.

Dear Sparky, Doug and the Hamiltons:
Very sorry to read of your loss. I have only fond memories of working at Emerald Hill and the big move to the Beltway 45 years ago. It was my first "real" job. The peacock was a bonus! God bless.

Dear Mrs. Hamilton,
It was my privilege to have known both you and your husband for so many years. What a fortunate man he was to have lived such a long life and have such a loving and supportive family. Please accept my sympathy in your loss.
Fondly, Mary (Dr Fortuin)
