Raymond Pollen Obituary

POLLEN , Raymond O. On April 25, 2010, RAYMOND O. POLLEN, beloved husband of the late Doris M. Pollen; devoted father of Judith Frazier and her husband Steven, Nancie Wilson and her husband Murray, and Carol Humphreys and her husband Ron; brother of Kathy King; also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Pollen was born in Illinois and raised in Baltimore. The Pollens were Christian missionaries in West Africa for over 30 years. After returning to Baltimore, they continued that same work among international students in the area. They served actively in the Perry Hall Baptist Church for over 25 years.
Visiting at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road (Overlea) on Wednesday and Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Perry Hall Baptist Church, 3919 Schroeder Avenue, on Friday at 10:00am . Interment at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Galmi Hospital (Niger, West Africa) Project (#84400) SIM USA, PO Box 7900, Charlotte, NC 28241.
