Robert Goldman Obituary
Robert Charles Goldman was a lifelong Baltimore resident. He was a devoted and proud father to his two daughters, Arielle and Erica, and grandfather to Teddy and West.
Robert attended Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and went on to attend the University of Maryland, where he was a member of the first graduating class of the architecture program.
His love of design and his keen business sense drove him to build his firm, Chesapeake Design Group. He loved his work, going to Ravens and Orioles games, and travel with his daughters. He will be sorely missed.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Friday, December 23rd, 2022 at 10:30 am. Interment Bnai Israel Cemetery - 3701 Southern Avenue. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Baltimore Heritage, Inc., 100 N. Charles St., Suite 100, Baltimore, MD 21201. The family will be receiving at 215 St. Dunstans Road, Baltimore, MD 21212 following interment on Friday only.

Robert and I shared our first off campus apartment together and spent many weekends hanging down in Georgetown with the hippie crowd in 1969 .... we even had the thrill of getting tear gassed together during Vietnam campus riot days .... But most of all Bobby always had a good heart and was loved by everyone ... especially lots of the ladies

Robert and I lived together during our college years ... I loved riding in his incredible 1963 blue corvette checking out the ladies ... we skied together .. went to Woodstock together .. lived their real hippie life ... he became a successful architect and I became a surgeon .... I will always treasure our friendship and all the good times we shared

I worked with Robert for 27 years, and only retired earlier this year from his firm, Chesapeake Design Group. He gave me a chance when I needed it, hiring me even though I was already in my 50's and had no experience with computer drafting. Robert was always generous in every way, and happy to have me bring my grandchildren to work. As an employer, he was a prince among men, and the world will diminish without his presence.
