I am so saddened to hear of Marder's passing. He was such a neat guy. We worked together for over 20 years at Westinghouse. He will be remembered as one who loved his family, tech toys and german cars!!

Dear Joan:
I am so sorry to hear about Bob's death. He was a true inspiration to everyone that came in contact with him. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you and your family.
I did not find out about his death until this morning. I will truly miss him!!
Sincerely,
Therese Stamets

I met Mr. Marder in 1998 while working out in Poolesville doing computer support work for my agency. He was like a father to me as he guided me through the years and taught me so much with the MACs. We kept in touch as we crossed paths doing IT work. The stories he told while he was helping you work on something just brought light to your day.
Someone I knew had this to say about their father when he died and this fits Mr. Marder: To know him was to love him

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

My sympathy is with Bob's family. I knew him from working with him on the finance committee of Glyndon United Methodist Church. His dedication to the committee will be missed - His shoes will be hard to fill.

Bob was so kind, caring and good-hearted and he derived much of his pleasures by helping many people. Bob was a friend that you could count on. He was truly one of the best friends a person could wish for and I will miss him very much. I owe a great deal to my long time friend and feel truly blessed that he was in my life for more than 25 years. Rest in peace kind soul.
