On behalf of the board of Haiti Outreach Pwoje Espwa (H.O.P.E.) and our partners and friends in Borgne, Haiti, we express our collective sadness and sincere condolences for the loss of Rohit. He was a kind and generous humanitarian who freely gave his time and expertise to shape our vision and to provide support for our work in Haiti. He was stalwart in his work on our behalf and, even in the throes of being very ill, made every effort to actively participate in our board meetings and to guide the clinical services we provide in Haiti. He will be missed for his brilliance, his calm and warm voice, his patient guidance, and his strength. We fully intend to ensure that his memory and impact are sustained through our shared commitment to bring health care to rural Haiti and our friends in Borgne.
Our warmest thoughts and deepest sympathies.
Sincerely,
Medical Director: Dr. Thony Voltaire Board Chair: Carol DeNysshen Co-Executive Directors: Mike Shields and Jim Myers
