On December 9, 2014, Samuel Herman; beloved brother of Joyce (Herbert) Friedman and the late Benjamin Herman; loving uncle of Mark (Joanna) Friedman, Gary (Donna) Friedman, Ronald (Lili) Friedman and Ellen Friedman; loving great uncle of Aaron, Joshua and Zachary Friedman, Eric and Ryan Friedman, Abraham and Lena Friedman. Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane, on Thursday, December 11, at 11 am. Interment Anshe Emunah Aitz Chaim Cemetery - 3901 Washington Blvd. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to The JHU Writing Seminars Gift Fund of Johns Hopkins University, Office of Annual Giving (DBF), 3400 N. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21218-2696. In mourning at 8917 Grummore Circle, Baltimore, MD 21208, Thursday and Saturday 5-7:30 pm with a service at 6 pm.

It was my pleasure to meet Mr Herman. I took pride in taking care of him. He always had a smile and kind words to say. I loved his cards that he made,as a matter of fact they are all hangng in my office. The Capd Unit misses him.What a treasure.
