Sharon Kennedy Obituary

Sharon was born in Baltimore, MD, to John and Doris Smith. She was a loving mother and aunt, a caring daughter and sister, and a great friend to all who knew her. She was a former bookkeeper at Brooks and Goldman Realty, and an active member of Cedarhurst Unitarian Universalists. She enjoyed stitching, tea, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Lilo.

Sharon is survived by her son, Chris Kennedy (Kelly), mother Doris, nephews John Smith III and David Shoemaker (Saya), and brother Jeff Smith (Sue Ellen). She is predeceased by her father John Smith, and brother, John Smith Jr.

Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of life later this spring. Online condolences may be made at monahanfuneralhome.com.

Sharon was the gentlest person I've ever known. Yet she was a strong leader and organizer. Her high tea skills were extraordinary and she was a fine crafter. She was always willing to pitch in and help. I loved her and will miss her terribly.
