THOMAS DICKSON Obituary
On May 28, 2016, Thomas Edward Dickson of Ellicott City, MD, beloved husband of the late Mary Haasis Dickson and devoted father of the late Thomas Eugene Dickson. Mr. Dickson was born in McComas, WV to Scottish immigrants, George Dickson and Helen Shepherd Robertson Dickson. He was Owner/Manager of Shell and Mobil Service Stations on US 40 and Johnnycake Road. He served in the US Army from 1951-1953. Mr. Dickson loved to dance and watch basketball. He is survived by his siblings, Helen Saxton (Harold), Agnes Miller ( William), Franklin Dickson, Rosaland Haddaway (Carroll), Gloria Wood (James) and Judith Drohan (Matthew). He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, 45 grand nieces and nephews and 16 great-grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son and siblings, Vivian Johnson (Darrell), Virginia Rosetti, George Dickson, Jr. (Rosemary) and Fred Dickson (Arlynne). Funeral arrangements were handled by Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home, Inc. All Services are private.
