Mary Jane, Georgia, Sara

I grew up in the old neighborhood and remember how close Mary Jane and Travis were and how he always looked out for Kenney. He was always a nice guy and Dan Johnson (my husband) said what a great athlete his was. Later when Sara attended Catonsville and played softball, Dan and I would watch the games with him. You could see he loved her so much and was so full of pride. Sara was a great athlete and a very nice person like her Dad. He really loved watching her play and was so very proud of what a wonderful young woman she was.

I know this is a very hard time for all of you and my prayers are with you all. Bless you.

UNCLE BUD WAS A PLEASURE TO BE AROUND. I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING HIM AT THE END THE TABLE WAITING FOR MARY JANE'S SOURKRAUT. A CONVERSATION WITH HIM WAS SOMETHING I ALWAYS ENJOYED AND LOOKED FORWARD TO. IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE HE'S GONE TO BE WITH THE LORD. IT SEEMS LIKE ONLY YESTERDAY WHEN WE FIST MET. IT WAS TRUELY AN HONOR TO KNOW HIM PERSONALLY AND TO BE A PART OF HIS WORLD.

WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE AND MISS YOU BUD.

Dear Georgia and family.

I have fond memories of Travis as a boy and a young man. He was always welcome in our home. So cheerful and smiling all the time.

I am praying that God's loving presence will surround you and your family with peace and comfort.

Travis has been a member of my family for almost as long as I have and he will be missed.

I'll miss my Uncle Bud, always adding in those witty or funny comments when he was around. Coming over on holidays in his baseball cap and sweatpants with a big smile on his face, always put a smile on mine. I remember how he used to give me the nicest most thoughtful christmas gifts, some gold earrings I still wear today which remind me of him and how even though he may have loved to argue and prove you wrong, I know he always really did care. I'll miss seeing him dozing off in front of the football game after every holiday dinner, which always gave everyone a chuckle. There will be a hole in the family without him, but a character like my Uncle Bud will never be forgotten.
