I have very fond memories of times our family spent with the Addisons. I remember when, thanks to Walter, a traffic light was installed at the busy intersection of Liberty Rd. and Washington Ave., near our home, and on our route to school. My sister, Judy, and I made up a song: (tune of God Bless America)
"God Bless Mr. Addison
Man who we love
He stands beside us, and guides us,
With the lights, red and green, up above.
From the city, to the county,
and the traffic in our state.
God Bless Mr Addison
Our traffic magistrate."

Lord knows, at 72, I don't remember a whole lot, but that is vivid in my mind. As well as the smile he always seemed to wear.
My condolences to Anne (my all-time favorite French teacher), Debbie and David (who were wonderful, sweet companions during visits), and to their spouses, kids and grandkids.

Kevin and I want to offer our sincere condolences to the family of Walter Addison. Walter and Ann were long time friends of my late parents, Alex and Mazel Linowitz, and were frequent visitors to my parents' house as I grew up. Kevin and I remember Walter´s dry sense of humor and enjoyed talking with him over the years. Our thoughts are with Ann, Debbie, and David at this time.
