Phred, I know you are in a better place, happy as a clam, and finding out all the answers to those elusive Cox questions we had so many of. Without your help, I sure would never have found my Cox's in Bibb County, AL. I'm glad we got to talk a few days before you crossed over, regarding my visiting those Cox's in the cemetery on the hill in Bibb County. God Bless you and your loved ones waiting here til they see you again.

When Fred was in jr. high and wanted to be in the high school band,he asked no one to buy him a trumpet, he went to work and made the money for it. That is the way he lived his life. He didn't ask for help.he gave it and I as his uncle was very proud.

Our dear friend, Phred, how and why? Oh how you will be missed online with all your bright solutions to our problems with the computers and stuff. I for one will charish all those hours spent consoling each other with the loss of our loved ones so few, yet many, years back. There were the three of us, me, Jackie, and you. Sometimes cousin Ellen would sit in with us, but we always stayed up too late for her. I have enjoyed your friendship and support thru the years, guy. Remember all the nights Jackie and I helped you thru 'picking' the right gal? Your duck at the park where you walked, and when he went away? How you missed him? That's how I will miss you, friend. To your family and close friends: Please accept my most uptmost heartfelt condolences on the loss of this man. We shall never visit with him again, but we shall never 'lose' him, for he goes before us to await our arrival. Your good friend in Dinuba, California, "ear"

Fred helped me greatly when I was starting my genealogy searches. He furnished a great deal of help, and even furnished corrections when I was going astray. He will be missed.
