William Gorge Obituary

On May 28, 2025 William J. "Bill" Gorge, Jr. passed away. He was the beloved father of Buffie and Kimberly (Brent); cherished grandfather of Shaun, Tristin, Angel, and Rhett; loving second father of Paul Beyer.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Parkwood Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in William's name to the Parkinson's Foundation, Attn: Donor Services, 5757 Waterford District Dr., Suite 310, Miami, FL 33126.

So sorry to learn of this event. You DO have one advantage, Billy. You were able to do what you truly enjoyed doing. Many cannot go to their final rest with that reward. I hope you won't mind the 'Billy' but, like Billy Graham, I have never heard you called anything else. I know the ones you left behind feel honored to have been a part of your active life ... and, minor as it is, that includes myself.
