David Gorge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Southfield Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Southfield on Jan. 21, 2025.
Dear family and friends, we regret to inform you of the passing of David A. Gorge. Son of Sal and Barbara "Jalaba" Gorge, he was the youngest of two children and shared a close bond with his older sister, Krystal. David adored spending time with family and making memories. David's love for his family was the center of his life. He was a devoted son, caring brother, proud uncle, cousin, and nephew. His father was his role model, his mother was his biggest fan, and his sister was more than a best friend.
David was a natural leader and gifted teacher. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Atlantic University. Over the years, he achieved numerous academic and professional honors, propelling him to work with some of the most prestigious financial institutions. His sharp intellect and expertise in banking and financial planning left a lasting impression on everyone he met, often through moments of engaging conversation.
David was loved by many and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew him. His warmth, intellect, and kind spirit leave an enduring legacy. Heaven has gained an angel, and while his absence leaves a void, his memory will live on in our hearts until we meet again.
Loving Son of Sal Gorge and Barbara Jalaba Gorge.
Devoted Brother of Krystal Bejjani; and Brother-in-law of Joseph Bejjani.
Dearest Uncle of Chloe and Sonny Bejjani.
