I knew Elwin for the last four years as Pharmacy district Manager. He was the most honest, dedicated and fair PDM I have ever seen in rite aid. He was my mentor and role model. I truly respected him and will always remember him in my prayers.

I knew Elwin when he was my partner at Perry Drug, back in the day, in Mt. Pleasant. He taught me how to be a fair, honest, sincere, caring pharmacist,...some of which I couldn't appreciate until years later. But I did come clean with him and tell him how I look back and see all that he taught me, without me wanting to learn. He truly has helped me to be a better pharmacist, and person. I was devastated to hear of his passing, and my heart goes out to your entire family. May God guide you thru this painful time. Our loss is Gods gain.

Mrs. Hahn and family,
I knew Elwin only as my Pharmacy District Manager. He was always very friendly and nice to me. El was honest , trustworthy and conscientious. We always talked when he came into my store and he often spoke of his family. I could tell he was especially proud of his boys. I am very sorry for your loss. We will all miss him.

Rosemary and Family,
I feel so sad for the loss of your husband of 37 years and cannot imagine how you are holding up. I pray you feel God's guidance through this trying time. I did not know Elwin personally, but you may remember that you and I served on the Board of Deacons at the Pennfield Presbyterian church for a time. I would also like to express my sympathy to your brother David, who I graduated with from Pennfield High School in 1966 and send special thoughts and prayers from my daughter, Hope, and I to your sons and their families. Andrew and Hope graduated from Pennfield School in 1995.
May God hold you in his loving arms during this time of sorry and lift you up with his promises of an everlasting life. My prayers as well as the prayers of the Pennfield Presbyterian Church are with you

I am glad we were able to meet at Curves and get to know each other. You are a wonderful caring person and I am here for you. Love, Shannon Mead
