Mildred Duckham Obituary

Mildred Leora (Scott) Duckham Tekonsha Mildred Leora (Scott) Duckham, age 92, died Thursday morning at Morning Glory Adult Foster Care in Coldwater. Mrs. Duckham was born on September 9, 1916 in Convis Township at Walnut Pointe to George and Vada (Hartson) Scott. She had lived in this area all of her life. On September 6, 1933, she married Harold F. Duckham in LaGrange, Indiana. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1998. She is survived by son, Robert H. (Jo) Duckham of Tekonsha and Jerry L. (Sherry) Duckham of Battle Creek; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren; a brother, George Scott of Olivet; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Ranger, Hazel Wiersema and Mabel Holibaugh. Visitation is at the Craig K. Kempf Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 and 5:00 to 7:00. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Monday, March 16, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorials are to the Union Church of Tekonsha.
