I'm so sad about the lost of my friend Phebe Clarke, I have wonderful memories of my schoolmate from the second grade through the 12th grade of BCCHS. The last time I saw her was at one of our class reunions and we promised to stay in touch, but we were both busy with our families. Phebe, you lived a wonderful life and I'm so happy that you lived it to the fullest. I had hoped to see you at our class reunion the day that you passed on, I had no idea that you were ill, since I live in New York. Will miss you my friend.

It was a pleasure to have Phebe with us in our spiritual community. She attended our "Dying, Death and Beyond" workshop four years ago at SokukoJi Buddhist Community and contributed ideas for both secular and Buddhist services to support our loved ones in community through transitions of life and death. Little did we know at that time that we would be using her kind words and offerings to help in her transition. It was a powerful experience for us all and we are deeply grateful to have been included by Phebe and her family during this time. Phebe's courage and inspiration was and is deeply appreciated. We love you, Phebe!

So sorry to hear of her passing. We enjoyed her while she lived with us at Bedford Manor Apartments. Such a gentle soul she had. and we so enjoyed seeing her water color paintings she shared with us. Thoughts and prayers go out to all.
