Thomas A. Willbur

Battle Creek - Thomas A Willbur died peacefully at 87 on June 5th 2021, at home, from aggressive prostate cancer. He was born Oct 20, 1933 to Maurice Willbur and Thelma Willbur nee Hewitt in Pennfield Twp, Battle Creek MI. He is survived by his spouse of 64 years Shirley Willbur nee Byrge. Also surviving are their four children Evelyn Willbur Goehres Johnstown PA, Mark Willbur Crystal River FL, Carl Willbur Battle Creek MI, and Marie Willbur Boring (Kevin) New Florence PA, along with 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Richard Willbur and Doris Willbur. Thomas was faithful to God, and lived his life with eternal purpose. He started his life going to one room school houses in Battle Creek Pennfield MI. He was a farmer, butcher, mail carrier, landlord, and served his country in the army (1956-58 incl one year in Korea).

Small memorial service Saturday June 12th at 11am with visitation afterwards, at

CTI Mechanical (garage area)

1320 E Columbia Ave

Battle Creek MI 49014

Cremation has taken place.

Urn interment will be at Hicks cemetery Pennfield Twp, Battle Creek MI
