Daniel Goodwin Obituary
A Gathering of Friends for Daniel "Danny" E. Goodwin of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be from 1:00-3:00 pm, Friday, November 25, 2016, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel Bull Shoals.
Danny passed away November 21, 2016, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 41 after a battle with Melanoma. He was born March 13, 1975, in Jerseyville, Illinois, the son of Charles and Deborah Shafer Goodwin. Danny worked as an Auto Mechanic for Daryl's Auto Repair in Lakeview, AR. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, and working on cars. Danny was a loving father and was always willing to help anyone.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Shanda Booher Goodwin of Lakeview, AR; parents, Charlie and Debbie Goodwin of Lakeview, AR; brothers, Charles "Pete" (Laura) Goodwin and Thomas (Lexi) Goodwin of Grafton, IL; daughters, Danielle Goodwin of Lakeview, AR, Sabra Booher of Bull Shoals, AR, and Cheris Goodwin of OK; favorite fishing partner, Chris Booher; in-laws, Charles and Betty Booher; brother-in-law, Kevin Booher & sister-in-law, Teresa Booher all of Lakeview, AR; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glynn & Betty Goodwin of Bull Shoals, AR and Thomas & Edith Shafer of Grafton, IL.

I will always remember his smile and kind and gentle nature. He always would say, "Let me know if you need anything." That meant a lot to me. Charlie and Debbie I'm thiinking of you and miss you.

My heart goes out to Danny's family and friends. He was way too young. Danny was a good neighbor. He was outgoing and friendly. He always ended our conversations with the phrase, "if you need anything, just let me know." He spent his free time close to home with his family and friends. He loved to have cookouts and listen to music.
He will be missed very much. However, I'm sure he will be your angel checking to see "if you need anything."
