Donald Scott Obituary

Donald "Redman" Scott, 64, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Mountain Home.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, to William Andrew and Margaret (Keevers) Scott. He married his wife, Karen, on Sept. 17, 1994, in Blue Island, Illinois.

Donald was a proud and hardworking member of Ironworkers Local 1. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge and loved being on his motorcycle and riding with the Moose Riders. Donald was lovingly known as Redman, and he will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Scott; one sister, Colleen Shy; and one brother, William Scott.

Redman is survived by his wife, Karen Scott; one stepdaughter, Amy (Sean) Harris; one stepson, Paul Anderson; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Mislich, Andrew Schmidt and Elijah Schmidt; two brothers, Michael (Sheila) Scott and John (Amy) Scott; three godchildren, Meagan Stepek, Liam Scott and Maggie Scott and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
