Elaine Kordus Obituary

Elaine Kordus, 78, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Nov. 8, 2022, under the gracious care of Hospice of the Ozarks following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on June 3, 1944, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Elaine Marie Skinner was the valedictorian of Muskego High School's class of 1962. After her years as a mother, administrative secretary and bank teller, she retired first to St. Petersburg, Florida but then moved to Mountain Home in 2006 and spent over 15 years appreciating its natural beauty and music community.

Elaine was preceded in death by mother and stepfather, Ellen and Earl Hardtke; sister Nora and a son, Steve.

Elaine is survived by one son, Michael (Carole); special friend and companion, Ted Hobbs; sisters Louise (Bill) Smith, Kathy (Bob) Radtke and Sally (Jeff) Hootman; as well as grandchildren, Cole, Austin, Zachary, Avery, Hannah and Brittany.

Services will be private under the direction of Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Hospice of the Ozarks, 811 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR 72653 or your local Humane Society.
