Ethan Barnes Obituary
Ethan Thomas Barnes, 20, a resident of Jordan passed away Monday, August 27, 2012, at the Community Medical Center of Izard County in Calico Rock.
He was born February 8, 1992, in Poteau, Oklahoma to John David and Brenda Lynn Johnson Barnes. Ethan was a 2010 graduate of Norfork High School where he played basketball, baseball and track. He loved fishing, camping, hiking and just being outdoors. Ethan was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his daughter, Maci May Barnes of Norfork; his former wife, Jessica Barnes of Norfork; his mother, Brenda Barnes of Mountain Home; his second parents, Mark and Ladell Williams of Jordan; his maternal grandmother, Paula Lewis of Sulphur, Oklahoma; four brothers, Flint and Jeremy Barnes, both of Wilburton, Oklahoma and Slade and Blake Williams, both of Jordan; two sisters, Melanie Mahoney of Wilburton, Oklahoma and Elizabeth Tilley of Cotter; numerous aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2012, at the Norfork Baptist Church with Mr. Bobby Hulse and Rev. David Wiley officiating. Burial will be private under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home in Mountain Home.
Pallbearers will be Flint Barnes, James May, Scott Woods, Chris Woods, Austin Greer, Slade Williams and Blake Williams.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, 14215 Arkansas 5, Norfork, AR 72658.

Ethan,
You were such a great guy and are deeply missed. We weren't buddies or anything in high school but you were the type of guy that just put a smile on everyones face. At first I didn't know who you were but everyone talked about you for doing something sweet or cool so then I heard. One time in the lunch room, I don't remember exactly but you did something that was very sweet and I remember you for that. I said thank you and you smiled your beautiful smile that everyone loved. Your now taking part as one of Gods angels and you will be missed but everytime we look up in the sky we will smile and remember you. Once a panther always a panther. We love you.
