Gary Steiger

Mountain Home - Gary Kent Steiger, 72, of Mountain Home passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Mountain Home. Gary was born on August 7, 1945 in Glendale, California to Bernard Al and Lorene (Tillman) Steiger. He was a member of the Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping and loved to eat steak. He had also served as a Cubmaster and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of nearly forty-five years, Chris (Fewson) Steiger of the home; two sons, Bryan Steiger (Mary) of Memphis and Matthew Steiger (Erin) of Fairfield, California; six grandchildren, Ethan Steiger, Ellie Steiger, Finn Steiger, Ann Howard, Mallory Howard and Will Howard and his mother-in-law, Charlotte Fewson of Mountain Home. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Elton Fewson.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1209 E. 9th Street, Mtn. Home, AR 72653 with Pastor Gary Tubb officiating. An online guestbook and obituary are available at www.connerfamilyfuneralhome.com.
