Jerry Dodson

Gassville - Jerry L. Dodson "Big Jerry", 82, of Gassville passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 in Gassville. He was born on June 30, 1935 at Tupelo, Arkansas to Flora Mae (Jones) Dodson and Jackson Dodson. He was a lifelong truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. He was also preceded in death by his wife of fifty-six years, Phila Jean Dodson. He is survived by three sons, Jerry Dodson, Jr., Jack (Barbara) Dodson of South Dakota and John (April) Dodson of Indiana; two daughters, Joy (John) Benedict and Liz (Jackie) Graham of Midway; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be private by Conner Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center. The family requests memorial donations in Jerry's name, in lieu of flowers, to a charity of one's choosing. An online guestbook and obituary are available at www.connerfamilyfuneralhome.com.
