Myrtle Weaver Obituary

Myrtle Evelyn Weaver, 80

GREENWOOD - Myrtle Evelyn Weaver of Greenwood passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at the Milford Center. She was 80.

Mrs. Weaver was born July 28, 1927, in Goldsboro, Md., daughter of the late John and Cora (Tharp) Bickling.

She graduated from Greensboro (Md.) High School.

Prior to moving to Greensboro, Mrs. Weaver worked at DuPont. In Greensboro she worked for Deluxe Dairy and the Greensboro Post Office.

She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church.

Mrs. Weaver was a homemaker.

She also belonged to the Harrington Ladies of the Moose.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra Weaver of Hurlock, Md.; and four grandchildren, Dale Dill, Christy Dobies, Andy Weaver and Randy Clarkson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Horace Weaver, in 1967; her son, Mark Weaver, in 1990; two brothers, J. Reese Bickling and George Bickling; and her sister, Louise Cain.

A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Gracelawn Cemetery, New Castle.
