Kevin Borg Obituary
Kevin Borg, 54, of Spring Valley, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
The funeral service for Kevin will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Barto Funeral Home in Spring Valley. Rev. Ryan Sutton of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton will officiate. The visitation for Kevin will be from 4:00 PM until time of services at the Barto Funeral Home on Thursday. Burial will be at a later date at the Oakland Cemetery in Princeton.
He was born in Princeton on April 17, 1967 to Dale and Sharon (Gower) Borg. Kevin worked at Corteva in Princeton and was an Air Force Veteran serving from 1986 to 1990.
Kevin is survived by his son, Nicholas Borg of Princeton; 2 daughters, Lindsey Hernandez of San Diego, California; Alexis Borg of Princeton; his mother, Sharon Borg of Princeton; his significant other for 17 years, Shelly Krolak of Spring Valley; 3 grandsons; a sister, Dawn (Tom) Molitor of Cicero, Indiana; nieces, nephews and cousins; in-laws, Jim Krolak, Janelle and Amanda Marks; his special furry friend, Penny.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Borg.
