Ronald and Theresa Hansen
Died: August 11, 2024 in Peru, IL
Ronald Hansen, 67, of Princeton, and, Theresa Hansen, 66, of Tiskilwa, died as the result of an automobile accident on the morning of Sunday, August 11, 2024.
A service in honor of Ron and Theresa will be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at the Seatonville Community Church, with a time for visiting beginning at 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, followed by a brief prayer service and eulogies. They will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Annawan in a private ceremony at a later date.
The Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, is honored to be assisting the family during this difficult time.
Ronald William Hansen was born on December 11, 1956 in Geneseo to Larry and Arlene (Morton) Adkins. Theresa Ann Hansen was born on September 23, 1957 in Geneseo to Robert and Joann (Van Rie) Vincent.
Ron and Theresa were both graduates of Atkinson High School and were married on June 25, 1977, in Geneseo. They were both retired from their careers as independent semi-truck drivers, and they were members of the Seatonville Community Church.
Ron and Theresa are survived by their sons, Daniel Hansen of Peru and Nicholas (Carli) Hansen of Malden; and their grandchildren, Phinnely, Merrick, Hazel, and Sawyer Hansen.
They were both preceded in death by their parents, as well as Ron's brother, Ryan.
