Lois Jeane Ulmer
Hampton resident, Lois Jeane (Brehm) Ulmer, 69, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Omaha, Neb.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Harvard Methodist Church in Harvard, Neb. with Pastor Travis King officiating. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the Apfel Funeral Home in Harvard, Neb. Burial will be in Harvard Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.apfelfuneralhome.com. Apfel Funeral Home of Harvard is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be given to the family.
Lois was born on October 16, 1947 to Lester and Melva Jeane (Osborne) Brehm in Aurora, Neb. She graduated from the Cairo High School in 1966. Lois enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, animals, her cats, volleyball, farmers markets and spending evenings at the casinos. She lived for her children and grandchildren and all their activities.
She is survived by her five children, Michelle Hilligas (Ryan) of Hampton, Neb., Nicole Lauenstein (Jeremy Bjerke) of Omaha, Neb., Nathan Lauenstein (Stephanie) of Omaha, Neb., Zac Lauenstein (Heidi) of Beatrice, Neb. and Ashley Bronson of Waco, Neb.; her grandchildren, Tyler Dageforde, Megan Dageforde, Mckenzie Doty, Kennedy Doty, Aurora Bjerke, Keenan Ruh, Brittney Ruh, Hailey Lauenstein, Mylee Rahn, Keelie Bronson, Charlee Bronson, Aspen Hilligas, Tayler Hilligas, Bryson Hilligas and KJ Hilligas; her great-grandchild, Cason Bamesberger; her brother, Vince Brehm (Carol) of David City, Neb.; her nephews, Micah Brehm and Michael Brehm; her niece, Samantha Brehm, with former husband, Virgil Ulmer; and her cats, Izzy and Pearl.
She was preceded in death by, her parents; her brother, Dale Brehm; her grandson, Noah Bronson; her nephews, Richie Brehm and Eric Brehm; as well as her husbands, Dick Davis and Kenneth Lauenstein.
