I didn´t know my "uncle billy" had passed until yesterday. As a kid I had more fun with him fishing and eating seafood. I remember going to Terrell park and seeing his mom and dad
And visiting with bobby and his wife from Canada He had a camero convertible and I thought was the best uncle in the world. After the separation we fell apart but he came by my office about 6 years ago just to visit. Loved him dearly. I pray his family has peace and understands gods love I regret not staying in touch with him thru the years. Precious memories are not forgotten

Bill was a good man and many of us who worked at BPD loved and respected him. I remember him as a good investigator who had a good rapport with his co-workers and the people he dealt with performing his daily duties. I'm sure he will be missed by his family and friends. Rest in peace, Bill (or as I always called him, "Sharpe".

My wife and I have been in our house for the past 22 years, which is almost directly across the street from Bill on 32nd St. In that time, we shared the friendly wave and occasional driveway meetings between us and our other neighbor directly across from him. Even though I didn't know Bill that well, I do consider him a friend. At least to me, he was a quiet man but always friendly. As an EMT and a volunteer for the Beaumont Police Department, I was pleasantly surprised to see that he was also a part of that community. You'll be missed Bill.
