Dale was charming, funny, handsome, whitty, sometimes stubborn, and a good father. I was blessed to have such a fine father. He taught me many things and he allowed me to learn things on my own which made me who I am today. He will be missed tremendously. There will be an empty place in my heart with my dad's name on it. I look forward to seeing him one day. Thank you all for all of your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Dale was a classmate at South Park High School. I saw him at Larry Boyette's funeral in Wharton, Texas and we talked about the new home he was moving into and that he was leaving in the afternoon to be at his granddaughter's birthday party.
