Today is ten years since my "Vietnam Brother", and life long friend after our return, left this World for a better place. I do and always will miss him. See you in the home of all Cavalry Troopers, Danny, FIDDLER'S GREEN. Till we meet again, "Papa Son". Rest easy, I have the Guard. All gave some, some gave all.

It's been almost 9 years since "Papa Son" (my nickname for Danny) left this earth. Not a day goes by that I do not wish I could pick up the phone and call him or shake his hand and hug him. We were "Brothers" and trusted our lives to each other, we had each other's back to the end. Danny was a proud and fine Trooper, Soldier, Warrior, and friend. I miss you so much, Danny.

All of us here in 'poison oaks' will miss Danny more than words can say.
Our children and all that were brought up by 'Uncle Danny' loved him in a way you can't describe.
Their children will truly miss out on quite an 'experience' being around him
WE LOVE YOU, DANNY!!!!!!!!!!!

I know Benjamin and Celeste Mott and wanted to express my sympathies to the entire Mott family. I hope these words of the Savior will bring you comfort--
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." John 14:18
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice and shall come forth." John 5:25,28-29

In times of sorrow there are few words that can bring comfort, but may it help somehow to know that caring thoughts are with you all.
I have not seen or heard of the Mott brothers (RANDY and Danny) in many many years. I knew Danny from crockett middle school,my brother Joe Lopez sister Marie also went to school with him. We were all friends that went to school together and lived in the same neighborhood.I remenber how sweet the brothers were and that they were the best of friend to each other.
Seeing the picture of Danny in nam was really nice it brought back memories of old school days, and our youth.
I am so very sorry to learn of his passing,my deepest sympathy go out to his wife and family.

I will always remember Danny as the wild mountain man that Lenny met in Viet Nam. His friendship over the years meant so much to us. We loved his humor and will truly miss him.
