Gene Guidry Obituary

Gene Paul Guidry, 75, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Gene was born August 26, 1946 in Port Arthur, Texas to LeRoy and Millie Guidry.

Gene served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from Chevron-Phillips after 43 years of service. He rode with the Patriot Guard Riders and was a huge Nascar fan. Gene taught instrumentation and was always willing to help others.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy Guidry and Millie Babineaux Guidry.

Those left to cherish Gene's memory are his wife of 17 years, Sherry Guidry; children, Paula Foley (Patrick); Stacy Savage (Jon); Dana Clehouse (Clif); Dustin Bergeron (Sabrina); grandchildren, Augustus Foley, Myles Clehouse, Remy Clehouse, Kelly Bergeron, Hailee Easterling (Adam); Mattie Bergeron, and Meagan Whitaker (Clint). Gene is also survived by great-grandchildren, Oakley Easterling, Gray Whitaker, Griffin Whitaker, Beckett Whitaker and Avery Wages; brother, Willard Guidry (Linda); sister, Debrra Guidry MacNeil (Tom); nephew, Brandon Rogers (Leah).

Gene was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Gene's wishes were to be cremated with no services.
