Joshua Stutz Obituary

Joshua Philip Stutz, 27, of Mauriceville, died September 17, 2011. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Claybar Kelley Watkins Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 20th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Josh was born in Springdale, Arkansas, on September 17, 1984, to Philip and Kathleen Stutz. He grew up in Mauriceville and was a 2003 graduate of Little Cypress Mauriceville High School. Following graduation, Josh attended Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas, where he was certified as a train conductor. Josh was a gifted and talented mechanic, as well as a certified welder. He was always eager to help others in any way he could, especially his friends, of which he had many. Josh lived life to the fullest, he loved music, played the guitar, and took everything in stride. Even as a child, he was very resilient. He will be remembered by everyone, especially his parents, as being a very kindhearted person. He is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Elaine Stutz of Mauriceville; parents, Philip and Kathleen Stutz of Mauriceville; sister and brother-in-law, Caitlyn and Rawson Wickersham of Mauriceville; grandparents, JoNell Vaughn and her husband, Austin, of Silsbee; and uncles, Keith Maloy and his wife, Robbie, and Terryl Maloy. Joshua is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lamar Stutz and Jo Ann Moore Stutz.
