I was blessed to know MawMaw for the past 14 years only through the wonderful First Baptist Acadamey. My grandchildren attended there. She was so special to the children and always had a band-aid ready for there little bo-bos. It cannot be enough said about the love and kindness she had for those little ones and I too will miss seeing her. Enjoy your Homecoming sweet lady.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. Joyce was "Angel" here on earth, such a special, loving lady. When I moved to Spurger 36 years ago, being a city girl from Nederland, she taught me so much about country living. Now she can go be with Poodle.
