Kenneth Lee Petry Sr.

Kenneth Lee Petry, Sr., 55, of Beaumont passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Beaumont Nursing & Rehabilation Center. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Scott Olive Baptist Church. Burial, Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas. A public viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, at Mercy Funeral Home. Visitation, 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church. He was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and resided in Beaumont most of his life. Survivors are: his father, Andrew Petry, Sr. of Beaumont; three sons, Kenneth Petry, Jr. of Beaumont, Trevor Petry and Travis Rice both of Abbeville, La.; one daughter, Michelle Eaglin of Beaumont; one brother, Donald Lee Petry of Beaumont; five sisters, Betty Ford of Port Arthur, Shirley Riley and Laura Smith both of Abbeville, La., Ruby Nell Guidry and Diane Guillory both of Beaumont; (6) grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and many friends.
