Martin Mattox Obituary
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Hopper Mattox, of 41 years; mother, Ruth Krebs Mattox of Beaumont, TX; brother, Michael Mattox , Beaumont, TX; sister, Johannah Garza (Juan) of Pasadena, TX; and niece, Bobbi Morgan (Steve) of Beaumont, TX, sister-in-law Rhonda W. Hopper, Vidor, TX
Martin attended Lamar University and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. After graduation he was employed at Texas Instruments and Raytheon. After moving to Orlando in 1998, he worked at Lockheed Martin, Orlando.
He was an avid skeet shooter and served on the board at the Imperial Polk County Skeet & Trap Club. He also enjoyed building and flying remote controlled airplanes. Martin's love of music led him to sing in the choir at the First United Methodist Church, Center Singers and Johnson University Choir, Kissimmee, FL
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Kissimmee, FL on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Family will receive friends from one o'clock until two p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
