Nina Beasley Obituary

Nina Eleanor Banes Beasley, 72, of Port Neches, Texas, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. Born May 31, 1935 in Robeline, Louisiana to Luther Delbert Banes and Minnie Ardell Carroll Banes. She was a resident of Port Neches for 51 years and longtime member of First Baptist Church of Port Neches. She retired from Port Neches ISD in 1992 after 18 years of service as an elementary teacher and had also worked for 2 years in the Port Arthur ISD. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches, Texas with Chaplain Warren Wargo of Hospice of Texas officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Delbert Banes. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Beasley of Port Neches, TX.; mother, Minnie Pike of Port Neches, TX.; daughters, Marla Hampton and husband, Greg of Southlake, TX., Susan Landry and husband, Brian of Port Neches, TX., Carol Farmer and husband, Mike of Spring, TX.; sister, Norma McBee and husband, Charles of Port Arthur, TX.; brother, Raymond Banes and wife, Judy of Prentiss, MS., grandchildren, Blake Farmer, Sarah Landry, Allison Landry, Brian Landry, Jr., Tyler Hampton and Matthew Hampton. 2001 Nall Street Port Neches, Texas 77651 (409)722-0253
