Paul Carr Obituary

1944 - 2016 Paul S. Carr, Jr., 72, of Beaumont, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital, Beaumont. He was born on February 29, 1944, to Gertrude Lyle Carr and Paul S. Carr, Sr., in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Paul is survived by his son, Paul Carr, III and his wife, Jayne, of Jacksonville, Texas; daughters, Lisa Marie Carr; and Amanda Carr and her partner, Jonathan Allen, all of Beaumont; grandchildren, Calandre Carr; Zachary Carr; Jacob Carr; Michael Poupart; Danielle Dark; Alan Lynas; Jessa Lynas; and Abigail Carr; brothers, David Carr and Michael Carr; and sisters, Madeline Gerber and Phyllis Hollar. He is preceded in death by his wife, Adrienne C. Carr. A gathering of Mr. Carr's family and friends will be from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., with a Christian Vigil at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 225 W. Barkley, Sour Lake. His interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery in Sour Lake at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus, 9505 College Street, Beaumont, Texas 77707; or ACTS Missions Chapter of Beaumont, P.O. Box 3429, Beaumont, Texas 77704.
