He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Frances Reiche; brother, Ron Reiche and his wife Jean; sister, Diane Hurley of Lees Summit, Missouri; step-daughter, Rebecca Pleasant, and her son, Christopher Edwards; step-son, Byron Pleasant; nieces, Melanie Jones, and Rhonda Vaughan; great nieces, Heather Beagnaud, Carrie Renner, Kimberly Sebastian and Sierra Vaughan; great nephew, Justin Vaughan; several great great nieces and nephews; and his puppy dogs, Goldie and Magic.  He will be sorely missed by his wife, family, and all of his dear friends.  His funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 4090 Delaware, Beaumont with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009 at Broussard's.  The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Gary Clayton, Dr. Scott McKenney, Dr. Sergio Giralt with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. McKenney's nurse, Kelly, Dr. Suresh Indupalli, and all the nurses on 4 South at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
