Each time I go to the doctors' offices in O'Fallon (in the new St. Elizabeth's), I say 'howdy' to his sculpture which is in the lobby. I worked with him a bit at the old St. E's and always admired his perfection while in the Cath Lab. He was strict, but there was a fun side to him, too. There are so many patients who have benefited from his skills. He was a great doctor who loved his family and his work.

Dear Jayshree, Payal, Sonia and Ashley....It is with such great sadness to just learn of the passing of your most beloved husband and father. He was one of the best human beings I have ever known. He was so so very proud of his wife and daughters. May god give you comfort and peace as you hold onto the wonderful memories of life together.
Yes, he loved his girls, all 4 of them so dearly!!! His face would light up just sharing their accomplishments and joys as a family.
He was one of the most skilled cardiologists I have ever met and had the gentlest of bedside manners. His patients adored him. Many of our family and friends were his patients and all loved him. He saved many many lives with his masterful interventional skills. He always had a smile and a kind word of encouragement for his patients who in turn loved and respected him dearly.
Dr. Anil, you made an indelible mark on our medical community and on the hearts of all who had the pleasure to know you. You had my utmost respect and always will. May you forever rest in peace, Golfing with the Angels perhaps.
May your memory live forever, your friend and colleague, Georgia Ferree and Family

I missed the passing of Dr Shah. Aside from saving my life - he was fun to watch from our days at Gov French Academy where I witnessed him buying varnished grasshoppers to help the kids auction. Always a kind man and one many looked up to. He will forever be in my heart and my love to the family as well.

I was deeply saddened today when I heared about Anil. We studied togather. He always topped the class. Neat hand writing and organized presentation of answers were his characteristics. A sportsman to the core and ever smiling face won love from many. Last I remember of him is a dinner at Tomatoes on CG Road,Ahmedabad. Nimish and I had hosted it to chat with him. Anil was vibrant. We talked at length for long hours. I felt proud of his achievements. May God grant him eternal peace

Dr. Shah commissioned me to paint murals for his daughters bedrooms when they were young. He was so excited to see the end product. I was honored to be hired for that job. As a nurse, I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Shah on the telemetry floor at St. Elizabeth's. Dr. Shah was the consummate professional, a good doctor and a really good man. I enjoyed working with him. He touched many lives, including mine, and now leaves us all a legacy of determination, success and kindness. My sincere sympathy to the family. May you find peace in your hearts knowing he was a loving and caring man who contributed much to the world. Carolyn Karasek Needles

Dr Shah was truly my Guardian Angel. He saved me for the first time in 1997 and then several other cardiac problems later. It is a great loss to the medical field, but he did leave behind those he taught and they know there is no way of filling his talents, but he taught them well. My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the Shah family and he will never be forgotten by anyone who crossed in his path. You can now rest in peace Dr. Shah knowing your job was always well done and will be remembered by all of us who were so blessed to have known you.

I am saddened by Dr. Anil's passing but know his battle is now over that in it self is a blessing. The years I spent in the Cath Lab at STE were very rewarding years and I have many memories and experiences that have impacted my life to this day. Dr. Anil set the bar very high and I was privillaged to work with. ..Only time moves onto the next scene but memories remain part ofthe heart forever. Mary

We want to take this time to express our regrets on this great loss to your family. Dr.Shah came into our lives several years back when our father had an unexpected heart attack. We met him one evening when he was on call and 3 hours later found out if it was not for his skillful experience and quick response our father would not be here today. He came out to meet our family and comfort us in our time of uncertainty and from that day forward my father put all his faith into Dr. Shah.
Our family wants to express our deepest regrets and let you know our thoughts and prayers remain with you during this time of grief. My father will truly miss his devoted doctor and friend.
Sincerely,
The Migneron Family

Dr Shah was our hero. My husband, Dick Ogden, had a heart attack in 2005 and Dr Shah operated and saved his life. Before the operation, he took the time to comfort and reasure me that everything was going to be fine. It was; however, this dreadful disease, cancer, also claimed my husband's life in Oct 2012. I believe God has guided Dr Shah's skillful hands all these years and there are many patients living today because of him. He is in a much better place today and free of pain and discomfort. May his loving memories bring you comfort and peace. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. God Bless You All.
