Catherine Shurtleff Obituary

Columbiana , Alabama - Catherine (Cathy) Lee Shurtleff departed our loving family on March 2, 2021.
Catherine was born to the late Wallace and Althea Shurtleff of New Baden, IL in Seville Spain on June 22, 1959.
She will forever live in our memories as a devoted mother to Joel (Carrie) Shurtleff and a loving grandmother to Parker and Hudson.
She was a much-loved sister of Pamela (Douglas) Bridges, Laurence (Cathie) Shurtleff, Kelli Shurtleff, and Bruce Shurtleff, as well as an aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews.
Catherine's loves included her enormous love for her family, her fur-babies Max, Mae-Mae, and Frankie, and each of her precious friends far and near.
She gave unconditionally and loved fiercely!
The family will observe a Celebration of Life in her honor on March 27th, 2021 from 12 pm to 3 pm at the First Baptist Church in New Baden, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Joel Shurtleff via Venmo or Mail.

My heart goes out to all of youJoel, Pam, Larry, Kelly, Brucie and the rest of your families. I've just recently learned of Cathy's passing. It truly
broke my heart. Cathy was one of my true and dear friends always. I don't receive a paper and I'm not on facebook. I would have definitely been there with y'all. I'm sending a picture of Cathy that was taken when I had Sunset Grille.
