Christian John "C.J." Collins, 22, of Red Bud, Illinois, born on May 16, 1995 in Normal, Illinois, passed away at 5:59 am, Sunday, April 29, 2018 in rural Red Bud, Illinois.

C.J. worked at Casey's General Store in Red Bud, Illinois. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Red Bud, Illinois. C.J. enjoyed playing video games on his X-Box and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosemary Uffelmann.

Survivors include his parents, Chad and Rosemary "Rhodie" (nee Uffelmann) Collins of Red Bud, IL; a brother, Jeremy Collins of Red Bud, IL; two uncles, Willie Uffelmann of Red Bud, IL, and Chris (Trica) Collins of Bluford, IL; aunt, Marsha Walker of Collinsville, IL; grandfather, Willard Uffelmann of Red Bud, IL; grandparents, Ernest and Brenda Collins of Mt. Vernon, IL; as well as many cousins and friends.

Visitation: Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Illinois, and again from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois.

Services: Funeral Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois with Rev. Mark Nebel officiating.

Interment at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud, Illinois.
