Beckemeyer, Illinois - Daniel James Lucash, 71, of Beckemeyer, Illinois passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born September 22, 1951 in Belleville, Illinois to Arthur and Areta (Kessler) Lucash. He married Debra Batton April 24, 1995 at Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee. Daniel had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed knife making and leather crafting in his spare time.
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, Debra Lucash; daughter, Stephanie (former spouse, Chad) Rheinhardt; son, Matt (Amanda) Lucash; grandchildren, Chloe Rheinhardt, Caleb Rheinhardt, Ruby Lucash and Leif Lucash; brother, Pat (Judy) Lucash and sister, Julie (Kevin) Zeisset. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Areta Lucash; first wife, Elizabeth (nee Rousan) Lucash; brothers, Tom and Clark Lucash; sister, Jennifer (Dave) Wicklman.

The Lucash family lived across the street from our Bakery and house..we all played together in the city park in Freeburg, till the whistle blew...then running home for the night...a big loving family..such sweet memories ..You have my sympathies and I'm praying for peace to all..
