Marisa and Roger Albers,
My sympathies for your loss. I was Controller at Empire Comfort Systems when your father's business operations were brought into the fold. He was a gentleman, and passionate about his products. Condolences to the rest of your family.

Mel was a fine gentleman and a good person who was always courteous and friendly, with a good sense of humor. I worked with him in the Serra Club for years. My sincere condolences to the family.

Mel was a very good friend of my husband, Jim. They went to Cathedral High School together along with a group of very good buddies. I remember Mel as a more or less quiet guy, but very humorous and very much the gentleman.
Rest In Peace, Mel....
