Paula Morgan

Paula Morgan of Arlington, VT passed away peacefully on May 4, 2016 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. Though a 40-year resident of southwest Vermont, Paula was born in East Aurora, NY. She attended East Aurora High School, The Buffalo Seminary and graduated from The School of St. Agnes & St. Michaels in East Grinstead, Sussex, UK. She attended Middlebury College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa in 1971. Moving to Manchester, VT shortly after graduation, Paula worked for many years at the Sirloin Saloon, Track Fore, Yankee Fisherman, Fly Fisherman Magazine, The American Museum of Fly Fishing and the Vermont Fuel Dealers Association. She began her own business Anything Goes Services working with many individuals and families in the area on just about any type of project. Paula's sharp wit and wry sense of humor won her many friends and to many who knew her she was affectionately known as "Stick." Paula was the daughter of the late Suzanne N. Koch and Rodney A. Morgan of East Aurora, NY and was predeceased by her sister, Amy Lasker. She is survived by her brother, Rodney A. Morgan, Jr., of Steamboat Springs, CO, her niece, Elizabeth Morgan, her nephew, Timothy A. Morgan, both of Denver, CO. and her brother-in-law, Ron Lasker. She is also survived by Jamie Kelley, Tammy Gardner and Robert Wyman III, step-children from an earlier marriage. She leaves behind her friend and companion Michael May of Fairfield, CT. FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service in Manchester, VT will be planned for later this summer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests considering a contribution in her memory to theSecond Chance Animal Center, 6779 Route 7A, Shaftsbury, VT.
